The 31st Annual Motorship Propulsion & Emissions Conference focuses on key topics affecting the global shipping industry, with particular emphasis on environmental issues, clean fuels, tackling the carbon issue, advances in propulsion systems and a shipowner's perspective on new maritime innovations and regulations.

The theme for the 2009 Conference is 'Saving fuel for lower costs and lower emissions'.
