Analysis of Possible Impact of Marpol Annex VI Options

Monique Vermeire holds a Master Degree in Chemistry of the University of Ghent, Belgium. In 1987 she joined Texaco's technology department, where she was responsible for the Analytical division within the Chemical and Analytical Section group. In 1998 she moved to Texaco’s Heavy Fuel Technology department where she provided technical and marketing support to Fuel and Marine Marketing. Since 2004, she has been in charge of all global technology support for marine distillate and residual fuels to Chevron’s marine and powergen business. Monique Vermeire is member of the Cimac Heavy Fuel Oil Group, the ISO 8217 Heavy Fuel Working Group, and represents Chevron in several action groups and taskforces on marine fuel oil issues, within Europia and Concawe.
