Tomas Tronstad, Principle Researcher at DNV Research & Innovation, is a Master of Science in Marine Machinery from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1990. He also possesses a Master degree in Energy Management from the Norwegian School of Management, IFP and ESCP-EAP, Paris 2007. He joined Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in 1991. He worked with integration of turbomachinery in high speed vessels, and implementation of new technology in marine applications to 1999. From 2000, working in DNV Research department, focus on energy research in general and fuel cells in particular. He is presently project manager of the Joint Industry Project FellowSHIP. The project involves development, qualification and demonstration of fuel cell technology in merchant ships. Biography under construction
