SOx Scrubbing of Marine Exhaust Gases

Torbjörn Henriksson graduated as M.Sc., Naval Architect, from Helsinki University of Technology in 1981. He was employed by Oy Wärtsilä Ab Helsinki Shipyard 1978-88. Starting as Design Engineer, he later became Production Engineer, and finally Manager, Machinery Design. In 1988-93 he held the position as Senior Technical Consultant at the shipping company EffJohn International (Finland) Oy. Since 1993 he is employed by Wärtsilä Finland Oy. Earlier responsibilities have included marine project management, technical sales support and product development. His current position is Propulsion and Applications Expert in the Technical Service organisation.
