Ian C Evans - Following a background in marine and offshore electrical engineering and 14 years in the drives industry as founder of both Elektrotek Drives and Howieson & Evans, Drive Consultants, Ian Evans, following his 1997 introduction of active filters into the European marketplace, has been heavily involved in harmonic mitigation, providing solutions, consultancy and training worldwide to industrial, marine and offshore clients. Mr Evans currently heads up Harmonic Solutions based in Scotland.

 

Dr. Rudy Limpaecher- Dr. Limpaecher received his PhD from UCLA, USA in the field of Plasma Physics, and worked for 22 years in the Directed Energy Technology Group at the AVCO Everett Research Laboratory/Textron. His areas of expertise included large pulsed CO2 lasers, E-beam initiated pulsed chemical lasers, Air Breathing Electric Laser ("ABEL"), in addition to large E-Beam pumped EMERAL lasers. These systems required repetitively pulsed power systems up to 1.6 MV and multi-MW. Rudy Limpaecher holds 12 US patents and many publications. The AC-Link inverter is one of his patents.
