Oskar Levander graduated with honours from Helsinki University of Technology in 2000, with a Master of Science in Naval Architecture. He has since been working with Wärtsilä Corporation and is currently Director R&D, heading the Operational Performance program of the Ship Power R&D department. Prior to this he has held positions as general manager of Conceptual Design, project manager and technical sales support engineer. He has been working mostly with the development of new ship designs and propulsion solutions for various ship types.
