Call for papers
Are you ready for 2015?
It is predicted that 85% of the current fleet will still be in operation in 2015 but, with 70% of the world wide fleet expected to enter one of the Emission Controlled Areas in Europe or the US, few have addressed how they will deal with the 0.1% sulphur limits coming into force in ECAs from 2015.
The 34th Motorship Propulsion and Emissions Conference will provide ship operators with solutions and answers to ensure their fleets comply. It is a must attend event for anybody dealing with technical aspects of ship operation and shipbuilding, fuel and lubricant issues and anyone involved in emission control technologies.
The 2012 Call for Papers has now closed and the full programme will be released soon.
Abstracts relating to the following themes were invited:
Powering ships - what are the options available for meeting the 0.1% sulphur limits?
Fuel and lubricant options – low sulphur fuel availability and versatility of lubes
EEDI/SEEMP - efficient design/refit options
Classification and Regulatory issues – implementation and enforcement
Operating cost reductions – options within compliance
For full details on any aspect of the conference, please email conferences@propulsionconference.com or call +44 (0) 1329 825335.
