The 33rd Motorship Propulsion & Emissions Conference took place at the Hilton Copenhagen Airport Hotel, Denmark and attracted over 150 delegates and speakers
The 33rd Motorship Propulsion & Emissions conference brought nearly 150 industry leaders together.
Being the longest running and most international event of this type, the conference enabled participants to network, discuss topical issues and exchange information and ideas.
The event consisted of the evening Welcome Reception hosted by MAN Diesel & Turbo in their MAN Diesel & Turbo research centre, the two-day discussions and the Gala Dinner sponsored by Det Norske Veritas. Conference chairman John Aitken, Secretary General SEAaT, welcomed the delegates and speakers who represented companies including The Aalborg Industries Group, Infineum, MAN Diesel, Det Norske Veritas and Rolls-Royce among other key industry players. During the conference, over 25 papers were presented covering many relevant topics such as: regulatory issues, making the most of current fuels, marine fuel choice under uncertainty, engine technology, propulsion efficiency, and lubricants.
